Do you need a killer bucket list to get shit done? Personally I’ve never really thought death was lurking over my shoulder so I’m not too sure what sprung me on the idea of a bucket list, thou I do make a list every single day to get shit done. Everything that’s not in the normal routine; pick up some razors, buy a motorcycle tire, re-post kijij ads, these are all things that we’re on lists last week & for the most part I get almost everything done in a day I write down or it gets bumped to the next day. A bucket list takes a tad more thought, these are things that must be accomplished prior to death. They have an expiry date just before you do & for a lot of people they likely have an expiry date with some age level in life. Say you want to have kids, well this will likely need to be checked off before your 70 or maybe you want to start your own business, I probably wouldn’t put this off too late either as it’s typically way more work then you anticipate. For me they mostly revolve around the world of travel and adventure, thou not all. I’ve got some tricky ones like “Sing to an audience” (I’m tone def with no musical talent, thou I like to be the center of positive attention) and “Write a best selling book” (The free one is coming along good, will see if anyone buys the next one!) I sat down one night and wrote them all up, framed them and they sit next to my bed so I can see them every day. This year I just happen to be driving right by “The Worlds Highest Bungy”, Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa and thought to myself, well I wonder if we can actually sneak past this place without Keli noticing and I won’t actually have to pee my pants in front of tourists and cameras. Nope not a chance, she woke up that morning talking about how fun it would be (to watch not to jump) & had it all planned out. I edited the days events into 3 minutes of great watching & if you look close you can see everyone laughing at me in the background and I slooooowed down a nice face shot where I look like I might actually be peeing my pants, it’s fun! The more I look over the list the more I think I should be able to bang out most things on it in one road trip, it’s just taking a bit longer to start that trip then I ever thought. Maybe I’ll add, start your friggin road trip to the top of my bucket list to get the ball rolling! Check out some sweet shots of my on the brink of what looks like suicide in the video below. What’s on your bucket list or maybe what should be on it?
