I read there might be some shallow river crossings to attempt while passing through the Ecuador Amazon. I'd never crossed much more than a puddle on a motorbike, so I was in for a real treat when I got to walk the bike through not one, but two rivers!
Lucky for me, struggling about halfway across the first one a guy came in to help me.

In episode two I finally find the enchanted lake. As the legend goes, at midnight each evening a castle made of gold rises out of the lake, however if you see it you are then banished to live in it forever.
As well any fish caught at night are made of gold, so naturally we set up a line around 11pm and headed back to camp.
